Folded hands...

Yesterday, I was feeding Avery and he fell asleep. That's when I noticed that he seemed to be trying really hard to fold his hands. He's got the pinkies down, but isn't having much success with the other fingers. He slept like this for quite a while, so I snapped a pic.

Avery's new trick

 For a couple of weeks now, Avery has been more aware of things around him and has been making some pretty cute faces at us. Whenever I would get the camera out though, he would lock it down and be all nonchalant. Well, a couple of days ago, I was talking to him and he was all smiles. I was able to sneak the camera out and get a picture before he knew what had hit him. I got him. I got him good! He's such a sweet and happy baby.

Bi-ig Ba-by

A few days ago, Avery had his "2 month" check-up. He was really 2 1/2 months old--(his doctor is in high demand.) He's about average for his height and weight and a little above average for his head circumference (because he's got lots of brains). He weighs 13lb 2oz and is 23in long. He took his shots like a champ-- this picture shows his attitude of victory!
